Created by the Swiss physician Dr. Maximilian Bircher-Benner, muesli was designed as a healthy meal for sanatorium patients in Switzerland. Don’t worry - you don’t have to be ill to munch our muesli, although it is pretty sick!
At it’s core, muesli is designed to be healthy and easy to digest. Dr Bircher-Benner used food as a part of treatment for patients. Our Classic Unforgettable Muesli is carefully crafted with the same intentions in mind.
We’ve made a few tweaks to the late doc’s recipe, swapping cranberries for apples and adding pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds to boost protein and flavor.
Classic Unforgettable Muesli can be eaten cold with milk or yogurt, cooked hot as porridge, or soaked in milk overnight as overnight oats. Eat it at breakfast, lunchtime, dinner, or in between meals to stave off hunger.
